About Me
- Kate Eshelman
- My name is Kate Eshelman, and I am currently a K-12 Art teacher In Galatia, IL. In between the busy weeks at school I try to find time to keep up with my own artwork. Although my favorite medium is drawing/painting, I also enjoy creating woodblock prints, ceramics, and photography. It is my intention to illustrate overarching human experiences, such as the admiration/fear of a grandparent, the regret following the loss of a loved one, the joy of animal companionship, the longing for a physical/metaphorical home, and the general complexities that arise when living in relationship with others. It is my hope that my artwork evokes memories of similar experiences for the viewer.
